Control room at ESOC
×This and last year i had the chance to visit ESOC, the European Space Operations Centre, three times.
Located in Darmstadt since 1967 the people there have flown more than 70 missions, including Giotto, Huygens and Rosetta.
When i am there i always learn a lot about spacecraft and satellites and how useful the data from these ESA missions are.
The images where made during the social media events accompanying the launch of Sentinel-2B and 3B, the „Night of the stars“, at EUMETSAT and at the exhibition „Rosetta - Europas Kometenjäger“.
